Teaching Beyond Profession
Hedo Cynthia Mawutor is the CEO of Her Excellency Hedo Foundation (HEH FOUNDATIOsN), she is a facilitator, actress and a feminist. She has over five years of experience in advocating for women and girls education, specifically empowering girls education in the rural communities.
Currently, she is a Teacher at Ghana Education Service. She teaches at 5 BN Basic School, Burma Camp, Accra. Cynthia holds a First Class Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies from Valley View University where she took courses like Gender and Development in Africa, Gender Issues and Development, Traditional Socio- Political Institutions in Ghana, Environmental Problems and others.

Cynthia is driven by her commitment to empowering women and girls education in the rural communities and one day she hopes to witness quality and equal access to education. She has some awards to her credit for the impacts made and still making. She is an Alumni of Young African Leadership Program initiated by The Former USA president Barrack Obama.

She has been mentored by TV Personality, Oheneyere Gifty Anti and Dr. Simon Boateng. She looks forward to continue her work in gender equality with a focus on advocacy for women's rights and equal opportunities.
